During the 6 months of the event, « The Anatomized Pavillon » exhibition presents in Monaco an out-of-site showcase of the Monaco Pavilion. For this project, the Italian agency SANTI + SANTI has recreated the Monaco Pavilion space, including the “Burned Trees” sculptures of Philippe Pastor, official artist of the pavilion, and a series of new paintings.

The Universal Exhibition Expo Milano 2015 will take place in Italy, in Milan, for 184 days, from 1 May to 31 October 2015, counting more than 140 participating countries, and expecting over 20 million visitors to the huge site of one million square meters.

This new edition is organized around a determinant theme for Humanity: “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life”.  A unique event, which embodies a new concept of Universal Exhibition: thematic, sustainable, technological and centered on the visitor.

Philippe Pastor’s « Burned Trees » have been integrated on the outdoor part of the Monaco Pavilion. Totem symbols of the deforestation, the sculptures stand around the Pavilion to remind us of the fragility of our environment and the urgency of protecting our planet.
